Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using time.planim.app or any Planim Time desktop application (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Planim Time provides native desktop time tracker applications with a web-based platform for account management, subscription billing, and device licensing. The desktop apps track time locally on your device and sync worklogs to third-party project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) as configured by you.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using your email address. We use passwordless authentication via one-time codes (OTP). You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • The Service is offered under subscription plans (monthly or yearly billing cycles).
  • All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. By subscribing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of a charge.

5. License and Desktop Application

  • Your subscription grants you a license to use the Planim Time desktop application. Team plans include a set number of seats for team members.
  • You authenticate in the desktop app through a web-based authorization flow linked to your account.
  • You may not share, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the desktop application.
  • The desktop application is provided for personal or internal business use only.

6. Your Data

Planim Time desktop apps are local-first. Your time tracking data, worklogs, and settings remain on your device. We do not collect, access, or store your time tracking data on our servers. Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service beyond its intended API.
  • Interfere with the Service's operation or overload its infrastructure.
  • Circumvent or tamper with the license verification system.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, and content, is owned by Planim and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. You retain full ownership of any data you create or manage using the desktop application.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data synced to third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Planim shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, your license to use the desktop application will be revoked. Sections 8 through 10 survive termination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Belgrade, Serbia.
